New video in Spanish for children/Introducing the new characters/The girl with curly hair

Hello and very welcome to my blog!!!!

It has been over a year since COVID started, we all have been through a lot and we all have had to adapt to a new way of living. I am no exception and this year has been tough, however some good things have come out of it. One of them has been having the opportunity to rethink my business and explore ideas on how to continue to support children who want to learn Spanish.

I thought the best way to do this is online and will be offering a subscription to access videos, stories, activities and many resources that will encourage language learning. I still want there to be some magic and interaction, like in the theatre, so there will be immersive VR activities and the stories will take the kids into the lives of different characters and their worlds, building in language and cultural knowledge. It's a work in progress at the moment and

I shall announce when the platform goes live.

I would like to invite you to take part in this new venture and give you the opportunity to tell me what you need and what you would like to see from this resource, such as vocabulary, grammar, cultural aspects, topics, interaction, games, activities, etc.

Please send me your suggestions to susanpaez@acuerpo.co.uk or write them in the comments and I will consider them carefully. I really would like to be able to cater for your needs.

So without any more delay I would like to introduce the girl with curly hair, she will be the main character in the first video. She still doesn't have a name, so for now she is the girl with curly hair (GWCH, for short -by the way I googled the acronym to make sure it wasn't inappropriate and it came up with "girl with curious hair", which is quite lovely and I'm tempted to keep). I shall be asking for help to give her a Spanish name, she will be making the appeal herself, so keep an eye out, I shall be posting it on my website and on social media.

She is looking a bit sad, I know, but we all have our sad moments, and I'm sure we can find a way to make her happy again. Little GWCH loves colourful things, absolutely adores her yellow wellies and her blue dungarees.

She is quite adventurous and brave, which sometimes lands her in sticky situations. Unfortunately she lives in a world that is grey, shades of black and white.

She has no idea why she is different and certainly she does not fit in but this does not dampen her spirits for long. You shall be able to find out more about her and be part of her adventures in the future.

Here are a few more photos of her, she was still in the making and already getting into trouble!!!!
