Happy Christmas! / Feliz Navidad

Updated: Apr 15

Hello again and welcome to my second blog!

It has been over a month since I last posted but I have been working very hard behind the scenes putting together my first pilot video using green screen!

I am wanting to move from theatre production into film production and I thought what better opportunity than this wonderful time of the year to produce a Christmas message in Spanish with some of the characters from my theatre production "El viaje de Matilde" (Matilde´s journey).

This is created specially for children that are learning Spanish and hopefully they will enjoy it. It is fully in Spanish, spoken by native speakers and it has subtitles in Spanish to help understand it. The vocabulary used is simple, mainly introductions, saying hello and goodbye and a little bit about the weather. It also has Christmas vocabulary and lots of Christmas spirit in it.

I shall say no more, apart from a very Happy Christmas to you all and a wonderful New Year 2019!

Here is the video. I hope you enjoy it.

The language used in the video is quite simple so that it can be easily followed . It mainly includes introductions, greetings, how are you, some Christmas vocabulary (such as Happy Christmas, Happy New year, Christmas cards) and some weather vocabulary. Here is the complete transcript with a translation to English. I hope it is of use to you.
